2011 SBCEU Information (Important Changes)

College GRADUATE Credit for MITCA Clinic Attendance (Updated Jan.2015)

MITCA is once again pleased to offer those coaches that attend the annual Cross Country Clinic the opportunity to earn college credit for those efforts. Interested coaches can earn 1 or 2 graduate credits by completing the necessary requirements and submitting materials to our ‘sister-contact’ in South Dakota after the clinic by March 1. Program details are below.

NOTE – Sign up and payment needs to happen at the clinic before you leave!
Kevin Behmer will be at a table in the vendor room both Thursday evening and all day Friday to answer questions and process paperwork. He will not be available on Saturday.

Credits are earned via the University of Sioux Falls and instructions will be provided regarding how to obtain your transcripts post semester. By the time the clinic arrives we will have the official course name and numbers as assigned by the university.

Payment Cash and checks are preferred. Credit cards are also accepted but will have a 3.5% processing fee added on.

Description, Cost & Requirements
1 Graduate Credit ( $155.00 )
Attend and critique 8 clinic sessions and critique 8 Track & Field related articles.

2 Graduate Credit ( $285.00 )
Complete 3 of the following 4 items:
1) Attend and critique 8 clinic sessions
2) Critique 8 Track & Field
3) Type a five (5) page paper on any aspect of coaching Track & Field
4) Submit your Athletic or School or team Rules/Regs/Policies Handbook that is given to parents or athletes

Student sessions on Saturday can also be included as long as you describe the teaching involved with the students by the clinicians.
