The Michigan Midwest Meet of Champions Committee is pleased to present the 2008 Midwest Meet of Champions. The MMC is typically held on the second Saturday of June each year and pits three graduated senior athletes from Michigan, Indiana and Ohio in a team-based competition to crown the Midwestern Champion. A glance at the record boards and top performance lists will find many collegiate all-americans as well as several Olympians. This meet is the single greatest collection of track and field athletes in the same venue EACH YEAR!
2008 finds the meet retuning to Jackson High School's Withington Stadium - an impressive 9 lane facility for year three of a four year stand.
Athletes and Staff will report to Spring Arbor University noon on Friday, June 13, to check in with their teams and pick up warmups, uniforms, lodging assignments, etc. A brief `get to know each other` practice is followed by a banquet with the meet being held on the following day.
