Three ways to become a MITCA member (membership
term is one year):
 |
Attend the
Cross Country Clinic in November (note: attendance at the
clinic DOES NOT meet the deadline [Oct 1] for Coach of the Year eligibility -
membership extends to Dec 31 of the following year), or

Attend the
Track & Field Clinic in January or
February (note: attendance at this clinic DOES meet the
deadline [May 1] for Coach of the Year eligibility - membership extends to
Dec 31 of the clinic year), or
|
 |
Complete a membership form
and mail it, along with a membership dues, as directed on the membership form.
To be eligible for Coach of the Year, the membership form must be received by
the date(s) indicated in the bullet points above. Membership forms received
BEFORE October 1 carry membership to December 31 of that year. Membership forms
received ON or AFTER October 1 carry membership to December 31 of the next year.
If you are retired from coaching, consider the Lifetime Membership, described
below.

Criteria:

* retired from coaching cross country and/or track and field |
 | Send Life Membership
Application and
above materials to the treasurer (address on membership form) |
 | Letter to the Executive Board from your school administration confirming
coaching retirement
(mailed to MITCA treasurer, address on membership form) |
 | One time fee of $100 |
 | Approval by the Executive Board |
 | Lifetime membership includes

 | clinic attendance at no cost (does not cover
banquet ticket) |

 | Applicant has been awarded either the Ambrose Award, Sweeney Award, or
Hall of Fame Inductee
